For months, I have been trying to figure out the best way to let my children know that we are going on vacation. We leave in just a few days, and on my way home from Dudie’s birthday party yesterday, it came to me!!!
I got home and got prepared and told the kids to stand next to the printer (of course, I filmed it). The first print out instructed them to tell Daddy to go upstairs to our room and get the red bag at the door, and wait for the next printout. Anthony returned with the bag, and the second printout happened. Slight issue…. It took longer than normal to print. Lol. After it printed, that sheet let the cat out of the bag!! I admit, that it took a minute for it to register, even for Miss Thing. Lol. Once they figured it out, they received one more printout, that gave the details.
Once that was over I breathed a sigh of relief that that part was over, even though they have no idea about the cruise ;-). At least that was out if the way, and guess what?? We finished packing their bags, and Anthony and I are about 80% packed. This is much better than the day before, when I kept trying to think. Lol. Of course, they have not stopped talking about it at all yet. Lol
I’m excited to continue the surprises because any and all trips with them, is all about them. I love seeing them happy.
