This past Saturday (June 22, 2013) I had the honor of being invited to the Wet Ones event at Six Flags Over Texas. I attended the event with my 10 year daughter.
I got the chance to meet Mom Central CEO Stacy DeBroff, who was so fun and friendly. Stacy shared a few tidbits of information with us: Did you know that one of the germiest places is a shopping cart? That alone, puts things into perspective when you think of purchasing foods for your family after touching a cart (Yuck). She also allowed us to smell a citrus smelling Wet Ones, that I think should be renamed “Pina-Colada”. The smell was so yummy.
I am an avid user of Wet Ones, and became a fan when my daughter was born almost 11 years ago. They have always had the perfect amount of moisture, and I never felt that my family’s hands were not clean. I remember one time in particular, when my son was about 2 years old. He sucked his thumb at the time, and wasted a product on the ground at a friends house. There was no water available, so we had to use the next best thing. We used a few Wet Ones until all of the debris was gone and they really helped. The fact that Wet Ones are portable, and is effective in cleaning 99.99% of the germs, makes it a great choice for anyone.
Having Wet Ones in a theme park makes so much sense, when you think of all of the germs you can accumulate in one day. While at the event, my daughter and I experienced Pandemonium and I was so scared, while she laughed and had such a great time (shh). My favorite part was the tour of Six Flags. It was interesting to get background information on a theme park that I grew up with, because I grew up in the Dallas area.
We had such a great time! We enjoyed the lunch and the gift basket, and can not wait for the next event.
