it and prevent it at all costs, but I just could not hold it off any
longer. My daughter and her first cell phone! My daughter is now 13 years old and while that has me reminiscing a bit, I realize that it
was time for her to have the responsibility of a cell phone, and what a great
way to ease into this responsibility than with Walmart Family Mobile. Not
only was the location convenient (because you can find them at your local
Walmart), but being able to walk in and have a smooth and easy buying
experience is key. I have heard about the Walmart Family Mobile and I have always wanted to check out what they had
to offer and with this opportunity, I got my chance.
that ESR Reps are available in-store to speak with to help facilitate the purchase
of a new phone and mobile service or even get the answers to your pressing questions about Walmart
Family Mobile? Exactly, that is what I said too!
just a bit. You are probably wondering what is Walmart Family Mobile and how
does it differ from other mobile plans out there. Well, Walmart Family Mobile
is a “no-contract” wireless service provided by T-Mobile USA. You will find that they offer
Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plans at a reasonable price (starting at $24.88 per
month for the first line) which is always a win-win. If you would like to add 1GB to 3GB of 4G LTE data,
they have a plan for you as well. There is a one-time $25 Starter Kit that must
be purchased and because it is a post-paid service, you will be billed at the
end of the billing month as opposed to the start. The Starter Kit includes your
SIM card and Activation Code (in case you were wondering what you get for the
$25). If you need a phone, no problem, they have a variety of phones that will fit your individual needs and personality. It is that easy. **Disclaimer: All prices for phones and plans included in this post are accurate as of the date of posting; however, these prices are subject to change. which made me happy because that meant that he was getting ready to assist customers. He immediately shook my
hand, introduced himself and began to tell me all about the Walmart Family
Mobile Plan and all that it entailed including the plans and the way the
post-paid plans work. We then walked over to the aisle with the Family Mobile
Phones and he explained the different phones and even made a suggestion as to
which phones would be best for my 13 year old, because I explained that I did
not want anything over the top. There was another family that was there and he quickly answered their questions and was
very polite while still assisting me. That is the kind of customer service I
would expect if I were that parent (kudos to him for that). My daughter made her decision and
chose the Alcatel Pop Astro Smartphone. I have to say that I am pleased with
her choice and I think that it is totally appropriate.
At the end of
it all, meeting with the in-store ESR Rep was a great experience and one that I
would recommend to everyone. It was good to know that there are representatives that can assist with our mobile phone purchases so that we (as consumers) can make the best decision for our households.
Because of the price associated with the phone plans, we will be continuing our service. However, if I can get my daughter to get off of the phone long enough talk to me, that would be great, but I guess that is a whole other situation.
Now that I have shared my experience with the in-store Walmart Family Mobile ESR Rep, please share what additional information you would ask if you had the opportunity to meet with a Walmart Family Mobile ESR Rep.
Until Next Time!
