I know what you are
thinking… Here we go again! The answer is a resounding YES! Let’s discuss….

My daughter is now 13 years old (teenager) and while I still want my baby to be a baby, I had to prepare for her party. We have decided on a venue (Reunion Tower in Downtown Dallas – a full post is coming soon to the blog), and
the date was set. However, there was one thing I
was missing. I needed an activity for the teens to do before we sat down to
eat. So after a few weeks of
“figuring” and debating, I thought of the perfect activity that was
quick, easy and would allow the girls to keep what they have created.

You are probably saying… “Just get to it please”… Ok
Ok!
Ok!
I bought all of the supplies from Michael’s and Home Depot and the cost was pretty reasonable (with the use of the 40% off
coupon).
coupon).
Supplies:
* Parachute Paracords (325)
* Variety box of beads (ones that had enough middle space to accommodate the Paracord)
* 3/8 Metal Washers (Home Depot for about $3.00 for
25)
* Optional — Bead Landing – Letter and Number Stamp Set (There are other brands).

| And DONE!!! Takes about 5 minutes to complete. |
We wanted to engrave the metal washers with the word
“Friends” so that it would be special for the young ladies that
attended. This is where the Letter and Number Stamp Set came in. My
husband used a hammer and taped each letter until it made an impression. Very
quick and easy.

To
expedite the creativity during the party, I prepacked what each young lady
would need to create her own bracelet in a snack Ziploc bag. I placed the
paracord and the washer in the bag and placed the box of beads on the table so
that they could be creative and have their own style.

All
in all, it was such a fun project to do and I am so happy that it was a
success!
