It is that time of year, when the leaves fall, the weather changes, and we get ready for that one day every year when we get to eat as much candy as our hearts desire (the children of course). That is right, the time has come to prepare for Halloween and what better way to prepare for this fun day, than to be able to watch MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron on Blue-Ray / DVD with a few friends while the kids are dressed as their favorite MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron superheros. Of course, one cannot just simply watch MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron, but you must make it an event that includes snacks and a craft activity to get you and your guests in the mood for the adventure they are about to embark on.

I don’t know about you, but I was super excited for the October
2, 2015 release of the MARVEL’s The Avengers:
Age of Ultron
Blue-Ray / DVD, because my family and I may or may not have
seen the movie a couple of times in theaters and even on a Disney Cruise this
summer. We loved every bit of the movie and its story line. Now that the movie
is on Blue-Ray/ DVD, we will be able to not only have a watch party, but we
will be able to watch the movie multiple times before and after (Sweet!).

I am budget conscious and never want to pay outrageous costs for costumes because, let’s face it, they wear them maybe once or twice and then that is it. When we arrived at our local Walmart, we were greeted by a spectacular Halloween display that allowed customers to enter and be engulfed in the decor. We immediately found just the costume we were looking for. My son is an Iron Man fanatic, and was grinning from ear to ear when he jumped up to retrieve the his costume. It came with everything that he needed to transform, except Iron Man’s Arc FX Armor (glove), but never fear, I have a solution that I will discuss below. Walmart, has an array of MARVEL Avengers costumes to choose from (Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, Ultron, Vision and Hawk), and the beauty of the Iron Man costume and the others is the awesome price, which means that all of the Avenger costumes are priced well within a budget. If you would like to do a bit of research beforehand, Walmart has the Marvel Avengers costumes that you are looking for online.

We then made our way to the back of the Walmart to the Electronics section, and there it was. The MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron display in all its glory, just sitting there with a vast selection of Blue-Ray / DVDs and combo packages. The location could be slightly different in your local store, but thankfully, everything is always easy to find in Walmart.

When I purchased the costume, there was something missing….. Iron Man’s Arc FX Armor (gloves). I have the perfect low-cost solution
that is easy to make.

Here are the easy instructions……

Supplies:
** Red Gloves (Local $1 Store)
** Velcro
** Package of Mini LED Lights – 12 Count, but you will only
use 4-6 total
** 1½ – 2 inch mailing tube caps (you will only need one tube for the two caps)

What to Do:
Step 1: Take the Velcro and cut it in a circle, just slightly larger than your caps
Step 2: Expose the sticky side of the Velcro
Step 3: Stick 2-3 Mini LED Lights onto the sticky side of the Velcro
Step 4: Affix the cap to the sticky side of the Velcro

Last Step: Attach the Velcro / cap to the glove AND DONE!!
A little bit of information to remember: You can remove the caps multiple times from the glove, but there is no need to turn on the lights until you are ready to use them. The lights require that you twist and tighten when you need to turn them on or off. Also, because it uses Velcro, you will be able to remove everything and still use the gloves for other uses. Just that easy!!

Now that Halloween is upon us, be sure to get to your local Walmart to check out the awesome selection of MARVEL Avengers costumes. I would love for you to share your Marvel Halloween costume plans for your children below.

Until Next Time!
