I’m excited! I get to discuss one of my favorite topics – Numberly, our sassy Boston Terrier. Mealtime is a favorite time for her and she shows us that she is all about what she eats. I have to admit, she is a bit picky, so we are constantly trying to find foods that she will eat without worry. She is definitely a fun character, and she is a special part of our family and family life. We enjoy pampering her every chance we get, even though she is a picky eater, we are excited for her to try Purina® Dog Chow® Natural dry dog food. I have to add that Numberly not only loves Purina® Dog Chow® Natural dry dog food,  but she ate it in it’s entirety. Numberly deserves to eat what she likes, right? (Well, within reason that is).

Thankfully, we were able to find Purina® Dog Chow® Natural in the dog food aisle of our local Kroger.

  
Our local Kroger is convenient to our home and the prices are always affordable for my family and our budget. I love that Kroger has an aisle dedicated to our pets and they have a vast selection of pet products. Can you say “One Stop Shop”?

While searching for the Purina® Dog Chow® Natural dry dog food, I was impressed to find that there were many choices of Purina® products to choose from. The Purina® Dog Chow® Natural dry dog food is 100% complete and balanced without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and that makes me happy for her and her health. It is really affordable (I got the 16.5 lb bag at a great price – not bad). It features natural ingredients that is naturally delicious and she LOVES it (Score!). For those that are interested, Purina® Dog Chow® Natural is also available in a puppy formula, Puppy Chow Natural.

Speaking of our Numberly, she does not enjoy sleeping without with a pillow or blanket. She is very playful and can require a new blanket if (or when) her current blanket has a mishap, so replacing them is sometimes necessary. Because of those replacements and to save money, I find it easier (and cheaper) to make her blankets myself. As I find the supplies (fleece, etc.) on sale or clearance, I will buy a large amount, just to have.

Take a look at how I make this easy DIY no-sew doggie blanket. 

How To:

1. Cut the fleece to the desired size needed for your blanket. I cut mine 27×37 because she is not a large dog, so she doesn’t need much.

2. Cut the four corners of the blanket into squares 3 inches by 3 inches. (Depending on the size of your dog, you can cut larger or smaller.

3. Using a ruler, cut 3 inch (long) and 1/2 inch wide strips all around the blanket.

4. It should look like this when you are done cutting your strips.

5. Once the strips are cut, take a strip and tie it in a single knot. Continue tying the knots until you have completed the blanket.
