Easy Sugar Scrub – A Great DIY Gift

December 6, 2014 by Raquel 1 Comment

It is that time of year when I try desperately to show my “creative” side and try my hand at some new things. I decided on Sugar Scrubs, and after scouring Pinterest, I found and adapted an easy recipe that involved sugar, baby wash, and baby oil (via www.smartschoolhouse.com). In addition to being super quick and easy to do, this sugar scrub was true to its word and left my skin baby soft.

The Ingredients:
– 2.5 cups of Sugar
– 1/4 cup of Baby Oil
– 1/4 cup of Baby Wash
– A sprinkle of Cherry Kool-Aid for color. The original recipe called for red food coloring.

All you do is combine the ingredients and TADA!!!

FYI: I purchased the small glass jars at Hobby Lobby for $1.00 each.

Oooh. I love this recipe. My four daughters are costing me bucket loads of money and they are not even teenagers yet. I'm definitely going to try this.
