As Easter approaches, I am sure that you moms and dads are trying to search the deepest portions of your brain to figure out what to put in your child’s Easter baskets. I know the feeling because I struggle with the same dilemma. I am not a traditional gift basket mom, but I try to give something that not only my children will love, but something that the whole family can enjoy as well! I had the honor of reviewing four (4) popular Disney releases that include: Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1, Disney DJ Shuffle 2, Disney Frozen: The Songs, and Disney’s Into The Woods Soundtrack and not only did I love them, but my family has been listening to them nonstop ever since we received them. 

First we will start with the Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1. Of course, I am WAY TOO young to know any of the songs on this CD word for word, but I may or may not have heard the songs several times in my past (just saying). Seriously, this CD brought back memories for me, and from the time the songs begin, it is easy for my family to jump in with excitement. You will find some oldies but goodies like; Hooked on a Feeling by Blue Swede, I Want You Back by the Jackson 5, or Ain’t No Mountain High Enough performed by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. 
Next we have the Disney Junior DJ Shuffle 2. I would like to say that I was able to enjoy this CD all by myself in the quiet and comfort of my bedroom or car, but sadly that is not the case. I know a certain 6 year old that took it from me to play in his CD player. The songs are so fun and what makes them even better is that we know the words, because we are Disney Junior fans and we watch and / or DVR ALL of the shows.  As you listen, you will recognize many if not all of the songs that are included on the CD.

Next, you can’t go wrong with the Disney’s Frozen: The Songs CD.This awesome CD contains the famous songs that were made popular by the Disney Frozen movie and the songs quickly became instant classics that everyone loves. Yes, Let It Go (both versions sung by Idina Menzel and Demi Lovato) is on there!

Last but not least, there is the 2-Disc Deluxe Edition of Disney’s Into The Woods Soundtrack! Not only was it a great movie, but after hearing the soundtrack, I have a good idea why. The music and lyrics of every song is fantastic and makes you think of different scenes from the movie.
