If you are anything like me, you are somewhat of a last-minute holiday shopper and tend to do a lot of your shopping online to take advantage of free delivery and other perks.
Here are a few last-minute gift ideas that won’t require you to leave home:
eGift Cards – Ahh, the old stand-by, and one that is readily available at a moment’s notice. Thankfully, there are plenty of eGift-card ideas to choose from, and you can’t go wrong unless you give a child a “cheese of the month” subscription gift card. Otherwise, it should work out just fine.
Did you know that Disney+ has a gift subscription, and you do not have to worry about picking it up and getting it to your loved one? The cost is $69.99 for one year, and trust me; you will be giving a massive amount of entertainment for that one year.
BroadwayHD is a streaming service for live theater. What better way to enjoy some real Broadway plays as a family in the comfort of your own home? You can choose the plan that works best for your budget for $8.99 a month or $99.99 for a year. You’ll experience productions such as The Sound of Music and Cirque du Soleil: Toruk- The First Flight.
Epic Books
Epic Books is a book subscription service for the kids in your life that love to read. Giving the gift of reading has many benefits that I, as a School Librarian enjoys. I love to see my students and kids go in and find a book they genuinely want to read. The books can be read from an device via the free app, so need need to worry about losing the book. Think Netflix for books and imagine the many choices they will have. The cost for unlimited access is $7.99 a month, but I recommend taking advantage of the 30-day free trial.
Christmas will be here before you know it, and no matter what you decide to gift to your loved ones this year, they will love the thought that went into it for them. Let me know in the comments below if you try any of the ideas I have listed.
Until Next Time!
